Zahra Hedges is a Glasgow-based board member and executive consultant with a career spanning business, government and the third sector. She has run her own business, worked in national government, and served as a charity CEO, alongside board roles including Skills Development Scotland and Children in Need, and an advisory role with Scottish Water’s Independent Customer Group, bringing customer voice directly into strategic decision-making.

She is a single parent, a foster carer, and AuDHD. Fairness and social mobility are the driving forces behind her work, shaping a career built on holding organisations to account for real outcomes, not just good intentions
