Linda Scott
PANELIST 3 - TOPIC: Return to Work, Career Change and Progression After a Break
Linda Scott is a strategic executive with more than 35 years’ experience across the private, public and third sectors, and a lifelong champion of skills, employability and inclusive economic growth. As Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Commercial Revenue at CodeClan, Scotland’s leading digital skills provider, she worked with a team to build digital talent pipelines that fed into high-growth sectors across Scotland, and as Managing Director of Developing the Young Workforce West Lothian she shapes how young people connect with employers.
She currently holds several fractional roles, including CEO of West Lothian Chamber of Commerce, Growth Consultant at Forrit, and Strategic Director for NHS Scotland at Trustmarque, and is the current Chair of the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit & Festival (SEMFEST26).
Linda’s commitment to designing practical pathways is personal. She left school with nothing and built her career through networking, listening and taking chances, and she knows first-hand that participation begins with access: to opportunities, to networks, and to the confidence to use them.
