Hazel Brady, Principal and CEO.
Hazel Brady leads strategic initiatives to enhance teaching quality, student success, and staff development. With nearly two decades of experience at the college, Hazel has held several key roles including Lecturer, Faculty Director Vice Principal for Learning and Attainment and has recently been appointed as Principal and CEO.

Her leadership is marked by a strong commitment to digital transformation in education, driving forward staff upskilling and innovative approaches to learning and assessment. Hazel is passionate about creating inclusive, high-quality learning environments and has played a pivotal role in improving student satisfaction and outcomes.

Before joining West Lothian College, Hazel worked in the media industry with BBC Scotland and STV, bringing a unique blend of creative and operational expertise to her educational leadership. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute and completed the Executive Leadership Series with the College Development Network.

A former student of West Lothian College herself, Hazel is deeply committed to the transformative power of education and continues to champion initiatives that empower students and staff alike.
