Dr Renata Osowska is an internationally awarded researcher in entrepreneurship and small business development, specialising in how culture and the socio-economic environment shape entrepreneurial behaviour, including entrepreneurial mobility and society.
Renata is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and a member of various academic organisations. She is the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ESCB) Vice President for the UK, the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) Entrepreneurship in Minority Groups SIG Co-Chair, and an Associate Editor for Entrepreneurial Business and Economics Review (EBER). She also co-founded the Small Business and Enterprise Research Group (SBERG) and co-leads the Business Innovation and Future Workforce theme at the Centre for Business Innovations and Sustainable Solutions (CBISS). Before entering academia, she worked in various industries in Poland, Germany, Ireland, and England.
